Getting Started

Switching & Onboarding

How do I switch to TBT?

It’s simple. We handle the heavy lifting — from setting up your new merchant account to programming your terminal or gateway. Most merchants are fully switched over within a few business days. We’ll walk you through every step so there are no surprises.

Will there be downtime during the switch?

No. We set up your new processing in parallel with your existing provider. Once everything is tested and ready, we make the switch — typically during off-hours. You keep taking payments the entire time.

Do I need new equipment?

Not necessarily. In many cases we can reprogram your existing terminals. If new equipment is needed, we’ll let you know upfront and work with you on the most cost-effective option — no surprise hardware fees.

How long does onboarding take?

Most merchants are fully onboarded within 3–5 business days. Complex setups (multiple locations, e-commerce integrations, or high-risk accounts) may take a bit longer, but we keep you informed every step of the way.

Pricing & Contracts

Are there really no contracts?

Really. No long-term contracts, no early termination fees, no cancellation penalties. We earn your business every month. If you ever decide to leave, you’re free to go — no questions asked, no fees charged.

What are your rates?

We use interchange-plus pricing, which means you pay the actual interchange rate set by the card networks plus a small, transparent markup. Your exact rate depends on your volume, industry, and average ticket size. We’ll give you a clear quote after reviewing your statement — no bait-and-switch.

Are there hidden fees?

No. We don’t bury fees in your statement under vague line items. Every charge is explained, and your rate stays the same month after month. If anything ever looks off on your statement, call your dedicated agent and we’ll walk through it with you line by line.

What if my rates change?

Interchange rates are set by the card networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and can adjust twice a year. If interchange goes up, that’s reflected on your statement — but our markup stays the same. We don’t use interchange adjustments as an excuse to pad our margin.

Do you really work with firearms dealers?

Absolutely. TBT was built with 2A merchants in mind from day one. We’ve been serving FFL dealers, shooting ranges, gunsmiths, and firearms retailers for over a decade. We don’t just tolerate 2A businesses — we actively seek them out.

What happens if a gateway drops me?

We maintain relationships with multiple banking partners and gateway providers specifically for this reason. If one provider changes their terms, we move you to a backup — often within the same day. Your business never goes dark.

Do you support online firearms sales?

Yes. We build WooCommerce stores specifically for firearms dealers, complete with FastBound integration for electronic A&D books, age verification, FFL transfer workflows, and compliant checkout processes. We handle both the website and the processing.

Do you build websites for non-firearms businesses?

Absolutely. While we’re well known for our firearms e-commerce builds, we design and develop WooCommerce sites for businesses in all industries — retail, restaurants, professional services, and more.
